Parking The Ribault club has very limited parking. PLEASE follow volunteer directions and avoid self parking.
DO NOT park off the road as it is Park property.
Course: Fort George Island is a part of the Talbot Island State Park system and some roads are unimproved. The course is both paved and unpaved. Caution is advised in some sections. The course will be a single traffic free loop of the Island starting and finishing near the Ribault Club on the north end of the Island. It is 99% shaded by Old Florida canopy and live oaks. You didn’t know running could be this good in Jacksonville.
Amenities: Technical T Shirts to all pre-registered entrants.
Timing The race will be timed and scored by Jaguar Timing Systems electronic bib tag.
Your entry fee covers the cost of the disposable chip which does not need to be returned.
Bib MUST be worn on the front chest to be scored electronically. Please do not fold the microprocessor or antennas.
Packet Pick UP: Thursday and Friday at the Jacksonville Running Company in Tapestry Park, off Southside Blvd and day of race. Please arrive early to avoid lines
Awards Top three male and female overall and top three Masters.
Medals will be awarded to all Fun Run finishers.
Age Groups Top Three Male and Female in 14 & under, 15 – 19, 20 – 24, 25 – 29, 30 – 34, 35 – 39, 40 – 44, 45 – 49, 50 – 54, 55 – 59, 60 – 64, 65 and over. Awards presentation will follow conclusion of the main event.
Additional Award: Raffles including a pair of Jaguar tickets and Road ID gift certificates.
Results Results will be posted near the finish line within minutes of the conclusion of the race and on the
internet at www.milestoneraceauthority.com.
Post Race Celebration: Please join us for a runner’s banquet of bagels, bananas etc, awards, music and more.
Directions: Take 9A over the Dames Point Bridge, first exit, to Heckscher Dr. Travel east 9.8 miles towards the beaches.Look for signs for the ferry and travel ½ mile past to the large beige boat storage building.
Turn left there into Fort George Island and follow the paved road along the marsh for two miles until you get to the Ribault Club. Parking is limited so arrive early
From the beaches by The St Johns River Ferry: The ferry leaves at 7 AM and 7:20 AM on Saturdays from the Mayport dock. Give yourself extra time or drive around over the Dames Point Bridge.
